Where has High Five been?
In 2016/17, the High Five (now Optimus) visited the Caribbean. From Nieuwpoort we left for an unforgettable trip along the coast to the south after which the crossing followed over the Atlantic Ocean. Here it became clear how comfortable High Five is.
After two years of wandering around the Caribbean, High Five was shipped by container ship to the Mediterranean, where she was chartered with skipper in Corsica.
In 2018/2019, High Five has sailed back to Nieuwpoort, with which you can now enjoy a wonderful sailing experience.

Het hoogtepunt van mijn zeilcarriere is op eigen kiel de Atlantische oceaan overzeilen van Gran Canaria naar Saint Lucia in de Caraiben waar we 22 dagen en 5 uur zeilden over deze 3049NM lange tocht.
Samen heb ik meer dan 30.000 mijl oceaan en zeezeilervaring op zowel tidal als non tidal waters.”
“Ik ben in het bezit van een algemeen stuurbrevet, Yachtman brevet, GOC (General Operaters Certificate) ook ben ik sinds 2016 RYA Yachtmaster Offshore commercial endorsed en als kers op de taart heb ik in 2024 Master STCW 200GT behaald
